NFL TV Schedule

Week 14 NFL TV Schedule – Sponsored by whichever team signs Ray Rice

Shame on you.  Just…shame on you.  At the very least, make the guy sit out the rest of the season.  He can come back next year because Dickface Goodell screwed up royally.  It’s like he’s related to the prosecutors in the OJ trial.  I mean it was easy.  And you fucked it up.  If Roger isn’t shitcanned then consider the NFL a joke (many people already have).

Anyway, enough of that rant and on to more pressing matters.  Like this week’s TV schedule:

Sunday
1:00 Pittsburgh at Cincinnati CBS (BC, Alberta, Cornwall, Quebec)/CTV (Vancouver, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Montreal)/CITL (Lloydminster)
1:00 St. Louis at Washington
1:00 NY Giants at Tennessee FOX (Cornwall, Quebec)
1:00 Carolina at New Orleans
1:00 NY Jets at Minnesota CBS (Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Northwestern Ontario)
1:00 Baltimore at Miami CBS (Eastern Canada)/CTV2 (Toronto, London/Windsor, Ottawa, Vancouver Island, Alberta, Atlantic)
1:00 Indianapolis at Cleveland FOX (BC, Alberta, Northern Ontario, Golden Horseshoe, GTA, Peterborough, Kingston, Belleville, Eastern Canada)/CTV (Toronto, Kitchener, Ottawa, Northern Ontario, Winnipeg, Atlantic)/CKPR (Thunder Bay)
1:00 Tampa Bay at Detroit FOX (Western Ontario, Midwestern Ontario, Ottawa)
1:00 Houston at Jacksonville
4:05 Buffalo at Denver CBS (Ontario (except Northwestern Ontario & Cornwall))/CTV2 (Toronto, London/Windor, Ottawa, Vancouver Island, Alberta)
4:05 Kansas City at Arizona
4:25 Seattle at Philadelphia FOX (all of Canada)/CTV (Toronto, Kitchener, Ottawa, Northern Ontario, Montreal, Vancouver, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Winnipeg)/CTV2 (Atlantic)/CKPR (Thunder Bay)/CITL (Lloydminster)
4:25 San Francisco at Oakland
8:30 New England at San Diego NBC/TSN1/TSN3/TSN4/TSN5
Monday
8:30 Atlanta at Green Bay TSN1/TSN3/TSN4/TSN5

Seattle-Philadelphia, in my opinion, is undoubtedly the game of the week.  FOX was smart to protect this game so it wasn’t flexed to Sunday night on NBC.  I still am not sold on the way scheduling games on TV is set up.  I still believe that games should be chosen by the networks, regardless of conference, at the start of the season.  At least four weeks’ notice should be given when changing game times.  If NBC wants a better game for the later part of the season, then they should have to trade with whichever network holds that game.  Otherwise you will end up with weeks like we had last week where very few of the Sunday games were any good.  The same thing happens in college football where there are always one or two weeks that are pretty blah in terms of quality of games.  No need for that in the NFL with the way the schedule is created and with the parity we have seen in recent years.  But it could be better.

Back to gambling!

Well not quite.  I never really left.  I did ProLine last week and was eliminated by about 3:00 Sunday afternoon.  Horrible week.  And to be honest, I forgot to include my picks.  So here they are for this week:

Pittsburgh over Cincinnati

Washington over St. Louis

NY Giants over Tennessee

New Orleans over Carolina

Minnesota over NY Jets

Baltimore over Miami

Indianapolis over Cleveland

Detroit over Tampa Bay

Jacksonville over Houston

Denver over Buffalo

Arizona over Kansas City

Seattle over Philadelphia

New England over San Diego

Green Bay over Atlanta

Wish me luck.  Or not.  Don’t care.  But it sure would be nice to have a bit of a Christmas bonus so to speak.  Good luck to the rest of you gambling this week.  Don’t get into too much of a hole at this time of year.  Wait for the Super Bowl for that.
