NFL TV Schedule

Week 7 NFL TV Schedule – Sponsored by the Cleveland Browns…who aren’t in last

Let that sink in for a moment.  The Browns.  Not in last.  With Brian Hoyer at quarterback.  And without their top receiver.

shocked-look

Yes, really.  It’s just too bad that no one will see their game this week.  Blame that on the Browns (since they came back into the league) and the Jags (who haven’t been competitive in a while).  Here’s a rundown of the NFL TV schedule this week:

Thursday
8:30 NY Jets at New England CBS (all)/NFLN/SNE/SNO/SNW/SNP
Sunday
1:00 Atlanta at Baltimore N/A
1:00 Tennessee at Washington N/A
1:00 Seattle at St. Louis FOX (BC, Alberta)/CTV (Vancouver, Alberta, Saskatchewan)/CITL (Lloydminster)
1:00 Cleveland at Jacksonville N/A
1:00 Cincinnati at Indianapolis CBS (Kingston, Cornwall, Quebec, Eastern Canada)/CTV2 (Toronto, London/Windsor, Ottawa, Vancouver Island, Alberta, Atlantic)
1:00 Minnesota at Buffalo FOX (Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Northwestern Ontario, Northern Ontario, Golden Horseshoe, GTA, Eastern Ontario (except Ottawa & Cornwall))/CTV (Toronto, Kitchener, Ottawa, Northern Ontario, Winnipeg)/CKPR (Thunder Bay)
1:00 Miami at Chicago N/A
1:00 New Orleans at Detroit FOX (Western Ontario, Midwestern Ontario, Ottawa)
1:00 Carolina at Green Bay FOX (Cornwall, Quebec, Eastern Canada)/CTV (Montreal, Atlantic)
4:05 Kansas City at San Diego CBS (BC, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario (except Kingston & Cornwall))/CTV2 (Toronto, London/Windsor, Ottawa, Vancouver Island, Alberta)
4:25 Arizona at Oakland N/A
4:25 NY Giants at Dallas FOX (All of Canada)/CTV (All of Canada)
8:30 San Francisco at Denver NBC/TSN1/TSN3/TSN4/TSN5
Monday
8:30 Houston at Pittsburgh TSN1/TSN3/TSN4/TSN5

Five games not being shown anywhere in Canada in households that don’t have either RedZone or Sunday Ticket.  To be honest, the Cards-Raiders game will probably be shown in about 1000 homes total if I am reading the coverage maps correctly (maps courtesy of 506sports.com).  For the first time this season, there’s a clean sweep for a game.  All FOX stations (being shown in Canada) and all CTV stations will show the Giants-Cowboys game as their late game this week.  I honestly don’t remember the last time this has happened for a Sunday afternoon game.  And to the many viewers who get the Vikings-Bills game, don’t worry about the announcing.  Mike Goldberg (who is awful at announcing anything let alone football) was replaced by Tim Brando.  If Brando is an upgrade in the booth, you know you suck.  Don’t get me wrong, he was great in the studio at CBS for college football but not good at all calling play-by-play (maybe he has improved…we shall see).

Picks of the Week

Hey I didn’t lose three games last week!!!  I actually lost six and tied one (I wonder how that works with ProLine…I should find out).  So yeah, it was a shitty week for me so I am here looking for redemption.
