Rice has just won the Conference USA championship so they have won the right to go to the Liberty Bowl which also changes where Marshall (who the Owls defeated) and East Carolina go.  Biggest story of the early games though is Oklahoma pulling out an amazing last-minute win over Oklahoma State to win Bedlam and cost the Pokes their BCS bid.  This means that the Texas-Baylor game on right now is the Big 12 Championship game.  Winner goes to the Fiesta Bowl and I project Baylor to narrowly beat the Horns to go to their first BCS bowl.  What this also does is prevent two Big XII teams from going to the BCS dance.  Who do I think now sneaks in?  How about Oregon?  And I cannot see the Sugar Bowl giving up a chance to get an Auburn-Oregon matchup in the final year of the BCS.

Update: Marshall has just accepted a bid to the Military Bowl.

Update #2: Baylor has defeated Texas and has won the Big 12 and the Fiesta Bowl bid.  Looks like Auburn will beat Missouri and, at the very least, go to the Sugar Bowl.
